Swahili Fashion Week, East and Central Africa largest fashion event, has been invited to showcases works of its designers at the Fashion Business Angola, Western Africa Largest Fashion Event, bringing 40 designers from 26 Countries under one roof.
Fashion Business Angola to be held from October 14 – 16 at Filda in Luanda, for the second time will have representation of three Designers from Tanzania Namely, Manju Msita, Gabriel Mollel and Mustafa Hassanali.
“Mustafa Hassanali having showcased at last years Fashion Business Angola, has decided to take along two other Tanzanian Designers to showcase their creativity and market their product to the Portuguese speaking country. Thus this year, two designers Manju and Gabriel will form part of the Team as we celebrate 50 years of UHURU.” said Enstenium Mgimba, Public relation Officer-SFW
Swahili Fashion week currently has exchange programme with Mozambique Fashion week, FAFA (Festival of Arts and Fashion) in Kenya and Now the Fashion Business Angola. Fashion designers Manju Msitta, Jamilla Vera Swai and Robi Morro have previously participated in such exchange programmes.

Swahili Fashion Week, East and Central Africa largest fashion event, now in its Fourth year, will be held at The National Museum on the 10th, 11th and 12th November 2011 in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania.
